DEAD PLEDGE 1983 DEMO.

DEAD PLEDGE was a Hardcore Punk band originally from Auburn, California. The band was active from 1981-84. The band gained some noteriety by playing numerous support gigs for the likes of Dead Kennedys, Black Flag and many more punk bands of the day. The original line up consisted of Paul Benson on vocals, Kelly Nixon on Bass, Rod Njoes on drums and Jim Edwards on guitar. Paul was later replaced by Earl Miller.

      That is pretty cool! I was the front man for the band 1981-83. It was a very fun, intense scene in Sacramento. My last show was opening for Minor Threat at the Crest Theatre. Miss those days, they were grand!
